Purchase Procedure
Once you have found a property that you would like to purchase through our newsletter, our website, or through one of our agents, the following steps must be taken in order to secure the property.
Firstly, please confirm with us that you would like to proceed with the purchase of the property, you can do this by either emailing us at info@alphapropertyinvestment.com or by calling the office on 020 8940 9556. We will confirm the availability of the investment property in question, and make sure you have seen all relevant information.
When you have received all of the relevant information for the property and you are ready to proceed, the next step is to complete and return our Reservation Form and fax it to us on 08719 005 656 or email it to us at info@alphapropertyinvestment.com.
Once we have confirmed recepit of the reservation form, you will have to trasnsfer the reservation fee across within 24hours. If you are paying by cheque, this will need to be sent via special delivery to our registered offices at

Once the above formalities have been completed you will need to appoint a mortgage broker (if buying with finance) and a solicitor to facilitate the purchase of your property. We have a team of recommended solicitors and brokers in place for any recommended deal. The advantage of using our team is that we stay in very close contact with them to ensure a quick and smooth sale. The preferential arrangements we have put in place with them for our clients means they are also very competitively priced.
The full details of the property you have chosen will be sent by us to your solicitor and mortgage broker so that the financial and legal work can begin. We aim for the survey to take place within a week after reservation. The rest of the financial groundwork and legal work, including searches and enquiries, should take no longer than four weeks.
If your property is not already tenanted, we will (with your permission) instruct a letting agent around 14 days prior to completion to ensure tenants are lined up as soon as possible.
Once a completion date is set, exchange and completion usually take place within 7 days. Upon completion the property is yours, the letting agent will take over, and your rental income will begin to flow.
Our service does not finish upon completion, and we will be on hand to help if you encounter any teething problems along the way. We can also recommend tried and tested work forces in all of the areas we source to carry out any ongoing work required.
